Key terms commonly found in international construction contracts.
On this episode, I will pick up some designated words that
are key terms and often found in international construction contracts by referring
the European’s FIDIC contract (choosing Red Book) as a basis for comparison with
the words or terms found in other equitable international construction
contracts, such as the American’s AIA contract and the NEC and the JCT of the
UK. I will also compare them with the words or terms found in the construction
contract in Thailand in 2003 for the
construction of airfield pavements for the Second Bangkok International Airport
project, which is translated from the English version, as can be seen as
follows.

It would be enough for this episode to provide the compared terms of international contracts as above. The next episode will talk about a high valued document which is worthy for a study, it is the "Delay and Disruption Protocol" of The Society of Construction Law from the United Kingdom.
